These boots are really comfortable and have ample room for my feet to rest comfortably and not feel squished. They also came with extra insole inserts If you find the boots "to roomy" and arch support inserts. Turns out , arch support on my right foot was helpful. Although I am hesitant to get boots with zippers as that is usually the weak spot (and I did have a zipper tang break within a month and Orthofeet replaced under warranty) , I wanted something easy to put on as I have bilateral foot drop and the rear zippers vs side zippers on other boots looked a lot easier for me to put the boots on. I do find these the easiest to put on due to the rear zippers and like I said earlier , they are very comfortable and roomy. I do need to use AFO's sometimes due to my footdrop but I would not recommend using "In the shoe" AFO's as I'm sure the zippers would not take the extra stress (I have other footwear for those). But I have used the AFO style's that attach to either laces or lace eyelets. What I like about these boots in regards to the "lace style" AFO's is that If you have the type that attaches to the lace eyelets , the eyelets have metal grommets in them so your not pulling on the leather and If you have the type that attaches to the laces , the bottom lace doesn't have the middle loop that some other shoes have that can get in the way. In regards to the zipper tang breaking within a month , I have always been careful with pulling on the zippers on any footwear and when I contacted Orthofeet , they responded quickly and actually shipped me a new pair which was appreciated. So as it stands , I really like these boots due to the initial quality , comfort , style and ease of putting on and off. I would recommend these and I will look at their other footwear for future purchases.

I bought these boots as a gift for a man who has CMT and struggles with finding anything to fit his feet other than custom made shoes/boots. The zippers in the back along with the width of the boot made putting them on and off possible ... and comfortable. This is an amazing boot and so wonderfully designed. Thank you, Orthofeet!

I really like the spacers (1/16" & 1/8") & the arch supports that are included with this purchase. I normally have to buy separate insoles to go in any pair of shoes to help shim up the fit. The dual zipper back of the shoe is very convenient & extremely useful. The styling is casual & appealing. The non-slip sole is aggressive. This is an important feature for me as a kitchen worker. They are also a nice medium weight shoe. Not "clunky" or heavy, which is a relief for my legs @ the end of a shift. I like the flat laces. Shoes with a rope type lace are hard for me to keep tied without using a special knotting technique. The wide toe box is perfect for my feet which are a bit irregular due to an injury in the late 90's which changed the direction of my toes on one foot ( I should actually buy two different sizes of shoes ). These shoes accommodate that with use of the provided spacers. Now, to see about their longevity. I would buy these again.

My husband loves these shoes. Might take a little bit to break in. He has neuropathy and these are the first shows that haven't killed his feet. The size runs a little big but that does give his room for his toes which were broken 20 yrs ago and are misshaped. The zippers stay up so far. Good support. Lightweight. Slip resistant. All in all I think he will keep these shoes

They worked well for a few days and felt good. However, within a month the zippers started breaking and the leather began to rip.

I always have a hard time finding shoes I like and are comfortable. These are the best ever.I am very hard on my feet, and these shoes take a beating and keep on going. I love the zipper and not having to tie all the time This was the first time to order from this company and will not be the last Highly recommend

Let me preface this with these shoes are extremely comfortable. I'm on my second pair. The reason I don't rate higher is due to the fact the zipper pull tabs break extremely easily. This doesn't make them any less comforatble, but the ease of putting on and not having to tie each time like traditional shoes is gone. I had three of the four zipper pull tabs break on first pair. I thought maybe I was being rough on them. I bought second pair because of the comfort. However, within a couple weeks the first of tabs on new pair broke while zipping. A few months into second pair and I cannot use zippers on one shoe and the other only has one left. They are NOT tight on me, so I'm not trying to squeeze in them. They are just weak. I'm hesitant to buy again and will have to find a comparable company with better quality to them overall.

This is a great boot. Comfortable, lightweight, inserts to maximize comfort and double zippers for ease wear.
