Fortified with 11 essential nutrients, this granular plant food feeds plants for up to a full six months, using a unique resin coating that controls nutritional release. Plants get what they need, when they need it. In addition, this plant food does not burn plants when used as directed. Use this all-purpose plant food with outdoor or indoor plants, including houseplants, flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, annual, and perennial plants. To use outdoors, sprinkle 1 scoopful (3 tablespoons) of plant food per 2 gal. container or 4 sq. ft. of garden area and mix into the top 1-3 inches of soil. Water plants regularly, and reapply plant food every 6 months. For indoor plants, use 1/2 the outdoor rate. I use this slow release plant food on my garden every two months, with regular fertilizer, Neptune Harvest, and also bone meal. I did notice that when I use this product my little hungry plants get stronger, and produce more fruits and veggies!We’ve been using this product for years in our garden, and it truly gives an extra boost to any plants. We get the large bags, then transfer them to a smaller shake container for easy distribution among our plants. Plus the small container helps my four-year-old daughter help sprinkle this product in our garden. Our garden truly thrives, and produces so many fruits and vegetables. We use it on almost everything: our flowers, strawberries, blueberries, melons, tomatoes, lettuce, garlic, cucumbers, onions, peppers, carrots, squash plants and more!We love the fact that Osmocote is not only slowly releases the nutrients into the soil, but also protects the nutrient core from being washed away or leached out. Never had an issue with the quality of this product. I truly believe this is a secret ingredient that all gardeners use to improve their garden! Several of my neighbors' flower beds always looked so much better than mine. Same sunshine, same soil, same rain, same flowers (SunPatiens). Theirs were flourishing; mine were barely surviving. I finally found out their secret. This is it! Yes, it works and this past summer, my flower bed looked as good as theirs. I also used it on some shrubs that were almost sickly; within a month or two, they were so much healthier. This is easy to use; just sprinkle it on the soil of your indoor and outdoor plants. I use this once monthly... I'm not a stickler for measuring, I just sprinkle it across my flower beds and put a few granules in my potted plants. The butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees all love my flowers since they are so healthy and full of blooms. I keep my flowers well watered, and despite 90+ degree days for months on end in the South, my flowers are in great shape. The 1 lb size lasts me 3-4 months. It's a great investment for keeping my garden happy!

I've found this recommendation on a youtube channel and was happy to find this plant food on Amazon ! What a difference in my hydrangeas! They really bloomed and doubled in size since using this fertilizer. I will buy again.
