Awesome bag! I love that it opens to a big area where I can organize it myself. It holds a LOT for a personal item sized bag. Lightweight. Good zippers. Comfortable straps. It was hard to buy as I wanted it in black and it usually sells out very quickly. I got lucky. Maybe Osprey will learn and make more of that color.

I am so lucky that I was able to purchased the black color of this bag. It was so difficult to find the color black and always not available.This bag made with good quality materials. I like the idea that I will be able to use it as personal item and put it under the airplane seat as personal bag. The storage capacity is enough for me and for my 5 yr old son. You can expand the bag or make it as compression if you like.I can bring one bag and both hands are free. The zipper quality is well made of. For security, you can just buy a clip that will hold togeter the zipper or buy a lock if you want to. I like the style especially the color and ideally for travelling.Overall I am well satisfied and glad I purchase this bag. I also buy the Osprey sojourn porter 65L for traveling.

Excellent pack! My 6ft, 200+ lbs partner thought the bag felt and looked too small on their back but it’s perfect on my 5’2†frame.The laptop sleeve just barely fit my 15†macbook air, but it does fit.The main compartment opens like a suitcase does, instead of how a traditional backpack opens. Fully packed, it just barely fit under the seat on my United Premium Plus flight. It might not fit under the smaller economy seats.Overall I like it. The color is nice and the straps are comfortable. Worth the money!

There is so much space in this bag. I would prefer more pockets on the inside, but if you are packing for a day trip or as your only carry on this bag is great and fits nicely under plane seats on Frontier and United Airlines. If you do expand it though and pack it full I do not believe it would fit easily and would need to go in an overhead bin. It is also great for a hiking trip.

It is the perfect size for traveling as a personal item for many airlines. The expandability to fit your needs is so nice for carrying a few things or many things. I used the laptop zipper more than I thought I would. The side handle and side opening feature to convert it into a "brief case" is so useful for packing clothes for a day trip. Best of all, the designers really know how to pick colors because I get compliments on my backpack all the time

Probably the best personal bag I’ve ever owned. I recently used this for a 4 day trip to Colorado where I was hiking and doing city activities. Organization and planned outfits are key. Definitely wear your biggest and heaviest clothes/shoes the day of your flight and returning day. Last day of the trip I was able to bring back two souvenir shirts and other small souvenirs as I had finished my snacks and majority of my toiletries. This bag definitely removed the stress of will it pass under the personal bag dimension for strict airlines like frontier and spirit or will I have to pay for it.Dimensions:I feel like the standard personal bags are 18x14x8, but you can over stuff those and will have to pay a fee if you are not careful packing. The Osprey is 17x13x6, but room to expand up.I love Osprey as a brand since I have other outdoor backpack products that have shown durability and have great back support in their backpacks. Excited to continue to use this bag for short trips on cheap budget airlines.

Was looking for a day/travel bag and kept coming to this one. I saw that it was always out of stock or the delivery time was was about a month or so. One day I clicked on it and saw that it was available for delivery within a few days. I jumped on it and delivered as scheduled. The next day I checked and it was back to a four or so week wait for delivery lOnce I receive the bag it was just what I was looking for. Perfect size and the expandable option is great. I like the fact that the front pock was changed to a zipper and not just open. The build quality is great and has a good amount of storage space. Definitely value for the price I got it for.

Es la mochila de Mary Poppins!!Acabo de regresar de mi viaje recorriendo en avión, tren, automóvil , metro, etc. y es la mochila más práctica que he tenido para viajar.Es de 26 litros y se puede expandir otros 6 litros más.. No tuve la necesidad de expandirla. Y le cabÃa todo y más.Cómo se abre como maleta es muy fácil acomodar todo hasta el último rincón. Y para sacar lo necesario es muy fácil.Tiene los cierres correctos en el lugar más adecuado.Para hacer el checking se saca fácil el pasaporte y documentos necesarios.Al momento de pasar por el filtro de seguridad es súper fácil y rápido sacar el iPad y la bolsita de lÃquidos . Y donde te piden sacar los electrónicos con baterÃa de litio también es súper rápido, sin perder tiempo urgando en la mochila.En el tren se saca con facilidad todo lo que vayas necesitando; cable cargador, iPad, snacks, agua, todo.Y además tiene unas pequeñas “agarraderas†donde terminan los cierres; perfectas para poner un gancho o un mini candado para viajar con mayor seguridad en el transporte público.En las aerolÃneas que viaje no hubo ningún problema como equipaje para poner abajo del asiento. (Aeroméxico , Iberia, Rayanair, Tap) Y tiene agarraderas en todos los costados para subir y bajar fácilmente de los compartimentos superiores.Soy súper fan de Osprey por la calidad y los diseños.He viajado con otras mochilas Osprey que son parara hiking y por supuesto son muy buenas, pero esta es todavÃa más práctica para viajar.La amé.

Have the old and the new version which I received here.The new version has a front pocket zipper while the old one was just a pocket sleeve in addition to the other front zipper.On the inside, behind the zipper compartment, you used to be able to stash things behind. Now it's just a zipper compartment for flat items leaving more room for the main compartment.On the back, the newer model has a much shorter sleeve to slide the backpack into a luggage or carryon. The old one had a much larger sleeve.Can't go wrong with either version. This is easily the best personal item you can buy.

Really good quality fits my 16" laptop and loads of room for clothes too. And will also fit 3 board games which is a bonus.
