works great. not like a fluke but still is a a great meter what i dont like is the small case . too bulky.

I don't know what it is but I've never seen a digital meter with a functional Dwell function, this being yet another. Maybe it hooks up differently than my cheap analog dwell meter that does work.The RPM pick-up and function is useless as well; it's very erratic and incomprehensible.It seems as though the 'refresh rate' or 'sampling rate' of this meter is very slow, (seen during RPM function?). During starter voltage drop testing I find myself having to 'hold crank' an extra second or two than what I'm used to otherwise I get no reading, both min/max or standard readout.I didn't like the 'auto-off' feature at first but I found that, during amperage draw testing, the circuit stays intact when it shuts off. A button press turns it back on.This is 'out of the box' function. I have not done any research or user manual reading to see if better performance can be achieved.

I bought this as a inexpensive option to more expensive Multimeters and found that it works great. The software is very helpful as well at the probe. Would recommend for a first meter.

I bought this as a gift... the packagaing was terrible the unit looked used.. and more than likely was. As when i tested the fuses for the 2 amp chanels the lowest one was faulty. The screen cover had fallen off. about the only thing good was the price.. my 25 year old fluke 83. Works better and is in better shape and build better than this.

The meter functions just fine and does all that is required of it and then some. The only two complaints I have are that the leads tend to have some resistance which makes accurate resistance readings difficult to obtain, and the logging function really needs to have a USB connector, 15 pin connectors died a long time ago.

works great, takes automotive multimeters to the next level with graphing software yah an oscilloscope for less than $200 cool.

I had both this OTC meter and a Fluke meter in my truck on a hot, but not excessively hot day.The Fluke meter was fine. The OTC meter's plastic screen cover deformed as shown in the photo.I contacted OTC to buy a replacement cover, and was told that they do not have replacement parts for this meter.To OTC's credit, my request for a replacement cover was quickly denied, rather than dragging their feet on responding.Usually OTC stuff is pretty good, unfortunately, this meter is not recommended for outdoor use in the sun or in hot environments.

Alligator clips for the probes made very weakly. They do not fit well onto probes.Damaged first time used. Meter is OK.
