This works well enough, it would be better with a finer ratchet though, some times there;s not enough room to get another "bite" so you have to use it as a non ratchet wrench.

I have a pickup that drains the battery if it’s not driven regularly. Since it’s not my primary vehicle, that happens a lot. The cheapest solution is to disconnect the battery when the truck is not in use. This tool makes it so much easier that, in my opinion, it paid for itself after just one use! So glad I bought it!

I have purchased is battery wrench as I call it for the portable toolbox that I carry in my vehicle for emergency repairs since I am a mechanic. This comes in very handy rather than working with a wrench, or a ratchet and socket. The insulated handle is very nice, and comfortable.However, I dock one star because of the ratcheting mechanism. It isn't very smooth. I have a Craftsman in my primary toolbox, which ratchets a lot better. However, this one works fine for a spare and doesn't get used all that much.All in all, if you need something cheap, get this one. It works fine and as it should.

The phrase “the right tool for the job†comes to mind. I always made do with the tools I had to swap batteries. Whether it be a wrench, pliers, channel locks, vice grips etc and I would get the job done. Holy cow! This little wrench made the job go by 10x as fast. Fitting the battery bolts perfectly so no more rounding off the corners. And for such little $ I wish I had this in the past. Def worth the purchase.

Works as expected. No complaints about it. At this point writing the review, I've had it for several months, used it on a handful of occasions, seems to be just great. Nice that the handle is plastic-coated on the off-chance that on a small battery, if the user isn't paying close attention, you won't end up shorting and spraying sparks and excitement all over the place like when might happen with a regular wrench.

This is a must have for anyone with the GM side terminal battery posts. On my yukon could not fit a ratchet and socket this makes it a breeze.
