An absolute must if you need to pull off a windshield wiper arm on a 02 Camaro. If you raise up the wipers to wash the front window, you better remember to put them back down before you open the hood (or the hood will snap them off like twigs). Yep, got in a hurry drying my car one day after washing and learned that the hard way.Also the wiper arm is pressed on, so there is no way to pry it up because there is the windshield right above it and plastic right below it. So, there is nothing to get any leverage off of that won't break easily if you try.So a little tool like this is absolutely needed if you have to replace the wiper arm and it is pressed on. Do yourself a favor and don't break a $200 or $300 window, or other expensive part trying to pry the wiper arm lose....just spend the $12 and get the right tool to get it off.

This tool did it's job as expected. I will likely never use it again, but for the price it is a life saver.Pro: The first blade arm I removed was a synch and was no problem at all for the tool. The second blade arm however was stubborn. Compared to the first I really thought I was going to break the plastic handle off of the tool. I had to bear down on it using both hands (one hand operation for the first arm). When it didn't work and I felt like the plastic was going to blow apart in my mits I donned gloves. I gave it a second go giving it all my muscle and since and pop.. The blade arm broke loose from the bolt and the tool did not break.Con: The handle is plastic and that's ok. I would have felt better if there had been a tool point below the handle for a wrench. I was only concerned about the plastic breaking and it didn't. I had to restrain myself from using another tool on it that would have likely damaged the tool.

It is actually a well made tool, seems to be good quality metal and the legs at the other end from the knob is a good thickness so I don't think it will bend, unless you have it improperly aligned when using it. It would not fit Nissan Cube to remove the wiper arm, only because there is a rubber gasket cover on the nissan wiper arm stem bonnet that keeps the tool from being able to be put in position so that you can actually use it for its intended purpose (aka this is basically a gear puller concept). So here are the dimensions of the tool. The depth of how thick it can be inserted on a wiper arm is about 1 1/16 inch, and the space between the legs is slightly less that 5/8 inch.

Ordered with some hesitation due to the number of bad reviews. Working on my wife's 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 crew cab. Wiper arms refused to come off after soaking the shaft with penetrating oil. Put everything back together and ordered this tool and a more expensive one that got better reviews. This one worked just fine. Popped both the arms right off with little effort. Impressed, it worked great and was very easy to use. The arms had been undisturbed for 14 years. I would say if this does not work for you your wiper arms are REALLY frozen on.

I would definitely recommend the $10 investment as it can also be used for pulling battery cables as well. I had to change my wiper arm and this made that a 5 minute repair. My last wiper arm took me about an hour to get off using various methods that I thought would leave more damage to the car. Well built and useful. I am sure I will find other clamps that this will be able to be used on.

I purchased the OTC 4676 Windshield Wiper Puller to remove the passenger side wiper arm on my e39 BMW (2003 530i sedan). Unfortunately the tool does not work, as there is not enough depth to allow the tool to be centered on the wiper arm (see pics). The tool might work if you modified it with a grinder or dremel to allow for more depth, but that might compromise the strength of the tool.Out of curiosity tried the tool (OTC 4676) on rear wiper of a 2010 Acura RDX and I had the same depth issue (see pics). I then tried the tool on the front driver’s side of the 2010 Acura RDX and there did not seem to even be a good way to even get the tool under the wiper arm without damaging the car (see pics). I also included a pic on the tool with a tape measure so others can get an idea of the depth of this tool.Fyi I previously purchased the OTC 4611 Battery Terminal Puller when the rear wiper on the RDX broke and I needed to replace it. The battery terminal puller worked fine for that pull. I then used the battery terminal puller twice to remove the passenger side wiper arm on a parts car e39 (there are two connection points on the e39 passenger side arm). But when I went to use the battery terminal puller on my e39 to remove my passenger side wiper arm, the tool failed. One of the arms of the battery terminal puller bent (someone posted pics of a similar failure on review page for that tool).

The tool was poorly made but I got it to work. There is no radius (fillet) at the most highly stressed inside corner of the fork/body joint, which makes the fork easy to break off (see other customer reviews). Thanks to the "heads up" provided by the other reviews, I was careful and managed to remove the wiper arm without breaking the tool.

Worked okay! OTC is a very good brand of tool but this one was made for littler duty. Used it to remove my rear wiper blade arm on SUV. I did penetrate the nut couple of days ahead of time otherwise I would’ve struggled..
