Tool is constructed of lightweight fiberglass-reinforced nylon that won't hang up in clutch disc splines. Rugged construction will easily support the weight of heavy clutch discs. To use, loosely install clutch disc and pressure plate on flywheel then insert alignment tool through the clutch into the bearing, center disc, then tighten pressure plate to spec. Tool features: 2 inch O.D. shaft, 1-1/4 inch pilot, 10 splines, splines are 7.3 inches long. Value is at the core of the OTC tool and equipment portfolio. Purchased for the 2 tools, only one tool in package. Not happy with this.

Was not aware the tool was two piece design is flawed and comes apart inside installed clutch.
