I purchased this tool for auto repair work - long "pipe cheaters" have their limits and boy was it worth it! A few days ago I finished some rear suspension work - including bolts that had to be torqued to approximately 200 ft-lbs and this tool made it easy. The last time I tried that particular job (before I bought this) I ended up with a shoulder injury. Not only is this tool helpful, it is a very cost-effective solution to those of us who can't spend more and don't need a 10:1 multiplier.

This is great! Perfect for that occasional fastener that’s over the capacity of your 1/2†drive gear, especially for getting it torqued properly. Front track bar bolt f-250 4x4, 406ft/lbs, no problem. Now set your torque wrench to a much more manageable 130#, especially in a confined space. Well made, nice box. Should last.

Tested it against my torque wrench and it is indeed a 3.3 : 1 ratio. Easy to setup and made removing stuck lug nuts effortless. This was probably overkill, but the older I get the less I want to strain muscles trying to remove stuck bolts. I don't have any bolts that require 3/4" sockets, but I was able to but a 1/2 adapter on the multiplier and used it on a 1 - 5/16" nut with no problem.
