Awesome upgrade for my drill press. These are solid, thread engagement is perfect and they shine up great using a little Mothers Billet polish! Nice!

These knobs are being used for the three capstan handles on my drill press. They are solid plastic with no metal thread insert, and are very smooth and shiny. They're worthy of a "5" rating, but the vendor failed to state the thread pitch. The threads are M12 X 1.50 pitch. My machine has 2.0 mm. pitch, but I was able to re-cut the threads with a M12 X 2.0 mm tap that I had on hand, and use the knobs, so be sure to check the thread pitch of your machine before ordering, if you won't be able to modify these knobs to fit.

It's a plastic knob, it works for my drill press. It does not have a molded in insert like the description states. It has threaded holes cut into the plastic.

in the video, the balls show a yellow colored metal threaded insert. The balls I received were threaded directly into the plastic. Hope they hold up.
