I had my bathtub refinished, and it sometimes becomes slippery. I slipped 2X in the tub and hurt myself. That can be very dangerous. I was in a lot of pain from those slips. I hadn't bought a mat before because they say it can damage your tub's finish when the tub is refinished. This mat is fantastic!! I give it 5 stars. You can feel it is heavy duty and will not fall apart. It is heavy in weight too, and easily grips your bathtub without damaging it. The round bubble circles throughout the mat feel good on your feet. When you stand on the mat, you feel totally secure on it. There is no slipping. The color also looks great. The length is terrific too. It runs almost the entire length of the bathtub covering the important area and it is specially cut out near the front. I don't write many reviews, but I give this mat 5 stars. It's a great safety product.

This works just like I hoped. It stays in place when standing on it. It's the right size. Other reviews said it sometimes floated. It will do that once in a while on the end closest to the drain, but it doesn't move. And if I stand on the "floating" end, it sticks back to the tub. I let it drain / dry on the side of my tub and spray both sides with Clean Shower nearly every use so I have yet to see or smell any issues. Had it for nearly 2 months and it's awesome!

This bathmat works great for refinished tubs. Have been looking for something like this for years. I dont know if this is a new product or i've been using the wrong search words, but so happy i found it. I like that it covers the whole length of the tub. I bought the dark grey. It also gives piece of mind for the possibility of falling in a slippery tub.

Overall, for function, this mat is amazing. It covers the entire bath and helps both our toddlers feel safe. It pulls up easily when done. The only downfall, and it may not bother some, is that because of its length, the mat came from the factory rolled very tight. When we finish the bath, we hang ours on our curtain rod to help it dry so it lasts longer. However, because it was rolled so tight, the end of it never unrolls when hanging and water just pools in it. We have had it for months and it is still just as curly. There are mornings we go to tuck it away and there is still lots of water there.Overall, would buy again and just hope it doesn’t come as tightly packaged.

Awesome mat! Our tub is just barely textured on the bottom so it's not actually usefully sticky but no suction cups will stick to it. So we tried other regular mats but they wouldn't stick but this mat stays in place perfectly and has saved our toddler from slipping during bath time.Highly recommend if you have a slightly textured tub!

Fits perfectly in the tubAny bath mat that you use should always be removed weekly and let the under surfaces of mat and tub to be drained, cleaned and dried. Do not use a bleach type cleaner on your mat or tub.Try to use oil removing liquid soap like a dish wash soapThis particular mat has no suction cups so it does not leave suction marks on your tub

Very soft under the feet and it feels firm and secure. Some mats you're afraid will slip with you on it, but not this one. And there wasn't any unpleasant odor, either

I have used this mat many times so I can provide an experienced review. This mat is fabulous! I needed something that would prevent slipping but also protect my refinished bathtub and this mat does the job. It is very sturdy, lays flat and DOES NOT MOVE. The trick is to wet it before laying it in the tub. It's also a great length if you have a longer tub. It has sufficient suction but peels off with no effect whatsoever on the enamel finish of the tub. After use, rinse, wipe down and hang to dry on a towel rack. People complaining about mildew aren't doing this. I have not had any problems with the mat collecting debris or soap residue. Some people say it is uncomfortable to sit on but you can just put a washcloth under your butt if you're using during a bath. I'm totally sold on this mat.

Very lovely mat that is not lumpy like the ones with the holes in them. Feels great to stand on. Large in size that covers the bottom of my tub and stays in place! Overall great value for the price.

Not necessarily a negative, but once it's taken out of the packaging it has a bit of a rubber smell, but it diminishes fairly quickly. Love the feel on my feet, and I quite like the (grey) colour I chose. Fits the tub nicely, and has the rounded cut-out near the drain.

This rubber bathtub mat is great! No synthetic smell. A nice 'feel' to it. All it has to do from now on is last for a good while. I'm very happy with this mat. I have bought it 3 times, now, in blue, green, and light green colours. The Amazon description of it is very reliable. Thank you for its manufacture, Othway! The 'suction cups' are very shallow and need to be pressed down when the tub has shallow water. Then, they stay pressed down while the bath fills up. Unless it is pressed down it may want to float somewhat. I learned this trick right away because I read the instructions!!!
