I bought this, along with, a pillow cover for it. When I took it out of it's small box, I was a little skeptical because it was vacuum sealed, but it immediately began to expand. I just used my hands to fluff it up, and it was a perfect shaped 18x18 pillow. At first, I wondered if the pillow cover would fit over it because the pillow insert was large, but, with a little time and effort, it fit perfectly. There are directions to fluff the pillow up if you choose to do it a different way. The pillow helped me create a very beautiful pillow for my sister! Great purchase!

I am in love with these pillows! Well made, packaged, and marketed. Great quality and value. Soft, durable, dense... These pillows come vacuumed packed and includes a manual. There are 3 methods they recommend you use to get the best results of fluff. I used method 3: I placed them in my dryer for 30 minutes after a quick fluff... and boy do they fluff up! Testing with water, they do have some water wicking quality for light splashes of water, a mist here and there, but not so much under a drenching downpour. As with all of my outdoor cushions and pillows, I tend to be hyper protective, and put them away when not in use. I expect these to last quite some time. These are made really well, and I'm impressed. Very happy with my purchase.**I purchased several of these pillows and have not run into any issues to-date. For best results follow the methods provided in the manual. I found that the dryer method was best and fastest, and provided ultimate fluff.***Firmness Tips: For EXTRA FIRM pillows, insert a larger pillow insert into a pillow cover that is one size smaller. Example: 20x20 Pillow insert placed inside of a 18x18 pillow cover for ultimate firmness. For REGULAR FIRM pillows, insert the same size pillow insert into a pillow cover of the same size. Example: 20x20 pillow insert placed inside of a 20x20 pillow cover for regular/general firmness.

These inserts are holding up well after a summer on the deck. The were rained on, absorbed very little water and dried quickl, so functionally They are a good value.. These are a soft pillow and the only way they could have be better was if they had more fill.

I had purchased some pillow covers for my screen room, and last minute before having people over I used cheap big-box pillows as inserts. When I saw these larger inserts go on sale, I jumped on the chance to properly fill the covers so they didn't look so slouchy. First pic shows the before & after. Second pic shows the difference in size between these and the cheap WM pillows.I fully expect the pillows to continue to fluff, considering I just took them out of their compressed packaging and gave a quick hand fluff rather than following the included instructions (sunlight or dryer.) Time will tell how they hold up outside... I'll come back to update this review if I see any concerns.

You don’t pay to ship air! I was shocked at how airtight the packaging was with this product! I would give it about 5 minutes to fluff and get air in the pillow before you put a decorative case of it! And it does not have a smell right out of the packaging!

I bought these 20x20†to insert into the 18x18†pillow covers (photos shown). The size up was recommended and they were right. The larger size is perfect. They’re plump but not overstuffed. Don’t be surprised when the inserts arrive flat as pancakes. They fluff up on their own after a few hours. In fact, the flattened state made it easier to stuff into the pillow covers. I bought these for a screened porch, as the description indicates outdoor use. So far so good. Before buying these I price shopped with a major fabric supplier. These were less expensive by far and they shipped right to my door. I’m very happy and would recommend these without hesitation!

Not nearly full enough-do not even fill the pillow covers. In the past my Walmart pillow inserts always fill the pillows nicely. These leave the pillows flat and limp. Putting two in would look nice, but people should not have to buy two items to do the job one is supposed to do.

The pillows come in a small box but when you open them up from their plastic wrap they expand nicely afterwardsThey were perfect with the pillow casings I bought

These were nice inserts. I put mine on air fluff in the dryer to fluff them up. Fit my pillow cases well.
