It was much easier, faster, stronger than the last set of braces. Extra support, good welds. Our wood pile is set up, full of wood. It goes into the negatives here. We go through firewood.

Worked great! Good, heavy and sturdy and I like the ability to make it the length I need.

The base pieces are well made with clean welds and rather good power coating.I took a little care in cutting the 2x4's for the base and sides and it stand perfectly flat the first try.All the mounting hardware is included, plus 2 extra screwsThe only bit that was subpar are the upper cross members. They are thin and easily bent.

I don't know what I can say. These brackets are awesome! Very well built and I'm sure they'll last a long time. Once I built the holder, I stained the wood. They are very aesthetic. Thank you!

The instructions are clearly written by someone for whom English is a second language but are, none-the-less, understandable. They are easy to put together and come with a couple of extra screws in case you drop one and cannot find it (which happened to me). I bought 8 12 long 2x4's cut 4 of them in half to make the vertical sides and used the other 4 for the bases. I first laid the base 2x4's on the ground and used a shovel to level the ground and then assembled the racks. First step in assembly was to put together the sides - including the included black straps that hold the vertical pieces together), then I carried them to the base boards that had been leveled, inserted the base boards and screwed them into the brackets and I was done with the construction. Actual assembly took me about a half hour with cutting, aligning and screwing together. Then I had to load the wood (which took much longer than the assembly of the racks) and ended up with what you see in the photos. All told, I have somewhat more than 4 face cords of firwood neatly stored (what you see is 24 feet long, 16 inches wide and 5.5 feet high - you really should not stack higher than that in a freestanding rack. I probably pushed it a bit over what I should have but I wanted to stack all the wood I had split thus far from the dead trees I cut down - this represents about one-third of the logs I had to split after the trees were cut down). I would (will) buy again

I like that I could make the rack to fit the space I had for it, and give it legs to be even with my deck. The light weight space bars didn't hold up too well, I had to add some wood braces, no biggie.

2x4s actual size are generally 1 1/2 inches x 3-1/2 vs the nominal (label) size of 2x4 - These actual measurements are typically found at a popular home center or hardware store. The 2x4s I purchased (brown pressure treated) fit easily within the slots of these brackets and snug enough to be secured with the supplied screws. I'm very happy with this product and they helped to create a clean, strong wood rack for my garage. The 4 small rectangular side braces (4 screw holes on each) were sufficient enough to stabilize the vertical 2x4 "walls". Because my vertical 2x4s were cut to 6' height (base 7' length), I decided to add a horizontal 7' 2x4 brace at the back top to make sure any outward pressure from the weight of the logs was better secured.

Well built and perfect for 2X4. More important the system enables you to level the height in the garage .Love it !

Decently strong brackets, they could be a bit thicker for the price- the small flat pieces flex when the screws are tightens, and the openings are slightly larger than the 2x4s so there is a tiny bit of wiggle room…. But all in all, very easy to set up, and nice to be able to customize the size and lengths you need. Building this took under an hour, overall very happy with it and the extra storage/space saving it offers.

The brackets fit the lumber well, and the finished rack (8’ long my case) holds a lot of wood.
