This is so perfect for our house. Every year we have found nests around our porch which means we end up with hundreds of tiny baby mantises all over our house so we use extra special care to protect them as best we can but it’s become an ongoing joke between friends and family who now call me “Mantis Momma†so I couldn’t resist this! I love copper too so it’s a win all around for me! Easy to put together and put right to use! â¤ï¸

Broken wings, bad packaging. Glued with JB Weld seems to be working. Need to upgrade flimsy packaging.BUT its a very nice whimsical praying mantis rain gauge.

We always just had a cheap plastic rain gauge that sat directly in the ground, but this is definitely an easy upgrade. It has a nice classy copper look to the grasshopper, and while the gauge part is still plastic it doesn't look cheap. You can't tell from a ways away, and I'd rather avoid the risk of it breaking and leaving glass shards in my lawn anyway. Nice product

This is a beautiful addition for any garden. The rain gauge is unusual and something most people don’t have.
