This hat has a wide brim to keep the sun off of your neck, top of your head, and out of your eyes. It works great and fits well. The material is lightweight for comfort in warmer days. It has a hat band sewn into the hat material in a daisy chain like way so that you can attach small items to it. Fly fishing lures or pins, possibly a golf pencil would all be about the right size to stow there.Finally, it has a thick string attached that goes under your chin and an adjustable fastener to cinch it up to keep it secure in windy conditions.It's well made yet lightweight. I can see how this hat will be my go to during the summer months.

A versatile hat! Lightweight and comfortable. Is one-size-fits-all. Fits my average sized head fine. However, may be a bit snug for a person who has a large head. I especially like the snap feature, allowing me to tack-up one or both sides as needed, whether for sun protection, or for increased visibility. Neck string is handy for securing the hat during blustery winds. Neck string also gives me the option to hang the hat from my neck onto my back when I don't feel like wearing the hat. The hat was a good purchase.

This hat is similar to a real US Navy issued hat even down to the label inside. The camo pattern is also similar. The quality of manufacture is satisfactory for the price point as are the materials used. Having said this, buy it with the word "SIMILIAR" in mind as it is not on the same level as the real Navy hat. Is it good looking, it does fit comfortably and is fairly priced, (I do love this hat!) but dont buy expecting US military quality knowing it is made of lighter materials and is a knockoff design overall.

Fit was "alright" but a little tight. The brim width wasn't what I'd hoped. Wife cleaned up my old hat and I went back to wearing it. Return windows is closed, so it sits on a hook till someone else wants it. Not happy.

Provides good sun screening to protect you from the nasty Sun UV rays off your face/head/neck/ears.I use this item while outside (as well as a couple others) as I've had skin cancer and lost a portion of my ear, and a wide brimmed hat was recommended by my care provider.

Vorab: wurde rasch und einwandfrei geliefertIch habe diesen Stoffhut am 20. Juni 2024 zum Preis von 10,99€ bestellt. Er wurde als Sonnenschutz für eine Alpenüberquerungstour (Bayern - Tirol - Südtirol) eingesetzt. Das Produkt ist robust und zugleich leicht. Abgesetzt kann es bei Bedarf einfach zusammengeknautscht und irgendwie im Gepäck verstaut werden - oder auch einfach durch das Band am Hals getragen werden. Aufgesetzt läßt sich die Hutkrempe in Grenzen hoch oder runterklappen. Falls notwendig lässt sich der Hut auch im Gebirgsbach wässern und dann als kühlende Kopfbedeckung einsetzten.Ich habe den Hut auf der siebentägigen Wanderung gut nutzen können und in keiner Weise geschont. Mir sind keinerlei Mängel aufgefallen, das Ding sieht quasi wie am ersten Tag aus, alle Nähte sitzen einwandfrei.Fazit: gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, gute Verarbeitung. Hat einen fixen Durchmesser von rd. 18 cm (Size LARGE), das Material (40% Poly/60% Cotton) scheint in Grenzen dehnbar zu sein. Die Luftzirkulation war OK.Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Liked it so much I immediately ordered another in a different colour, which, two weeks later, has yet to arrive. First one came the day after I ordered it. Nice cool roomy hat at a bargain price.
