Your cart is empty.Purple Bell Vine (Rhodociton Atrosanguineus) - With heart shaped leaves, dark purple blooms dangle from an umbrella shaped calyx in a bright fuchsia hue which remains after the center has fallen giving the appearance of two kinds of blooms on the same vine. Growing to 7 to 10 feet if supported on a trellis, Rhodochiton needs rich, well drained soil and full sun to partial shade and will bloom from late spring to late fall. Purple bells is a great plant to grow up a trellis where it will reach 10 feet tall. You can also plant Rhodociton in hanging baskets and let the lovely tubular flowers drape down over the basket. Whether you plant these flower seeds in the ground as an annual or in a hanging basket, it will bring you a long season of flowers and add an exotic touch to your garden.

This vine has been very difficult for me to germinate; but, that's no reflection on Outside Pride. I've had outstanding results with their other vines and plant seeds.Many gardeners have challenges with this vine...I'm still trying. Will post pics when I finally get this beautiful lil bugger to sprout

We have purchased hanging baskets of Purple Bells from nurseries for several years and this is the first time we have found the seeds for sale. We have yet to plant the seeds as they arrived today, but I can say that this plant is absolutely gorgeous in hanging baskets. I have had people driving by stop and ask what they were and where we got them. Stunning and showy. The photo here does not do it justice as it flows quite a number of feet down from the basket.

I bought these in January, planted two months ago and not one seed came up. I was looking so forward to these. All my other seeds came up. Would not recommend.

5 Stars on the Beautiful Packaging - and Super Fast Delivery, but ... I have yet to plant the seeds as it is January and 19 degrees outside so I can not comment on the germination and/or flowering. I will be back to comment in April or May. :-)

Five of the seeds grew a few leaves and none made a vine of flowers.

the vine i got from seeds planted has started flowering. The flowers are completely different and these are not "Mexican Purple Bell Vine (Rhodochiton atrosanguineum)" as shown in the picture. These are "Blue/purple climbing snapdragon". These flowers that I got instead is very common bush variety in India and I would have never bought this if the correct pictures were shown. Misleading What a shame "Outsidepride"!
