I can't explain why she likes it - I mean it is obviously cute and makes the most wonderful sound and it's the perfect size for her. Currently on our second one (the first lasted at least three years! ) and I plan to buy them as needed. It's her favorite - every day! She has a box of toys and this is her first choice. It's light weight. It's soft. And it DOES NOT squeek. It makes a general farm animal noise which is a great alternative to a squeak. I washed #1 many times. It's fantastic - durable, cute, hilarious, fun.

This is a soft squeaky toy. I do not think the squeak sounds differently than any other regular squeak toy. It’s cute. Some parts are just felt, like the tail feathers, crown feather and warbler. The felt will not last long. The rest is plush fabric. The XS, is baseball size, it fits in hand. My 30 lb cocker spaniels like it. With tail feathers it’s 6 inches long, 4 inches high to crown of head and bottom.

My little Shihtzu loves the chicken toy. It’s very cute, and the small size is the perfect size for him to carry around and snuggle with when he sleeps. He’s not a chewer. I knocked off one star because the tag says it has a silly squeaker, but it’s no different than any other squeaky toy he has. He weighs 12 pounds.

My dog is OBSESSED with this toy and plays with it all the time! It's soft, durable, and is the perfect size for a pig-loving miniature schnauzer.

Not for aggressive chewers. My Maverick has always treated his stuffed toys gently, but not this one. I was shocked when he got the stuffing and the squeaker out in a matter of hours. Do I could not rate this for durability. The squeaker was well made and the sound was excellent. Very clever design on this stuffed toy. (I might mention that Maverick is a Yorkshire Terrier. Small, but apparently true to his breed.)

We have 2 rescue pugs, and the smaller of the two just LOVES stuffie toys. This little chick will be a perfect addition for her Easter basket. This particular one is more suitable to the smaller and toy dog breeds. We have purchased a few different dog toys from this company, and we have never been disappointed!

I have to give a review! This was one of favourite toys as my 2 Labradoodle litter mate puppies while growing up. It could be chucked in the washing machine as needed and come out good as new. It made a different noise. It was great to chew on. It could be shaken about. It could be tugged between them and yet stay in one piece. It could be carried at speed when running off while playing. It was chosen each night to go in one of the overnight crate (in turns), both as a comfort and as a chew toy while waiting to be let out.Until one day my almost 8 month old Labradoodle larger male pup (an aggressive chewer) had enough adult teeth to access the squeaker and turn the much loved toy into a choking hazard. A truly wonderful toy before then 😊
