This is a lightweight tool that is easy to use. It has a port that connects to the vehicle and it will give you a reading on the device. The image is clear. I don’t know much about the technology behind how it accomplishes this task. I can say that it will give you reading that will let you know the level of brake fluid in the vehicle. It seems to be made from quality materials. It is a handy tool that will allow you to assess if maintenance is needed.

I am still squinting trying to decide if I trust this tool. It definitely showed a difference between new in the bottle and old used brake fluid, but the new showed a 1.7, and the old showed about 2.7. It seems improbable, but I’ll keep testing and go with it. Just make sure you test on new fluid to get an idea of what your zero is. I didn’t see a calibration adjustment. If I find that, I may change my rating. For now, I'll recommend with some reservations.
