Love these gloves. The leather is soft, the crochet backing is breathable, they protect my hands, and they are super comfortable. I've gone through a ton of them, because I'm terrible at keeping track of my gloves. But it turns out that if you don't lose them, they last quite a while, even if you abuse them. (I rarely clean mine and they get all kinds of gunk on them.) You might want new ones for looks, as the leather darkens unevenly from use over time and the light crochet weave gets quite dirty. If you're interested in functionality more than looks, though, it takes years to wear through them.

nice comfortable and affordable glove but index finger on one glove was smaller in diameter. it will probably stretch out with use. bought two pair and the other pair was fine.

There are a bunch of threads sticking out of the fingers after couple of washings ( cold water machine wash inside a mesh bag)

I really love the gloves pictures (without velcro), but the gloves that were delivered have velcro enclosures on the wrist. I had a clinic that weekend and needed gloves so I kept and used them. The crochet backing still breathes, and the leather is very grippy. But I do not like the velcro. Disappointed for sure.

It's getting hot as it's almost summer time here. I usually ride in leather equestrian gloves to protect my hands and keep sun off them. It was too hot to put on my usual gloves last weekend, and I went without them and got pretty sunburned on the backs of my hands. So I purchased these size 7 Ovation crochet and leather gloves in the hopes that they won't be overly hot to wear in the summer and still protect my skin from the sun - as I burn easily even with sunscreen. They seem to fit okay, but are a tiny bit too short for my fingers - but I have really long fingers and struggle with gloves not being long enough anyway. I'm not sure yet if it will be annoying for me, so I'll give these a chance. I'm hoping they might even stretch out a bit once they are broke in after wearing a few times. I'm docking these gloves 1 Star because it really would be nice if they were just a tiny bit longer for those of us who have long fingers and need a bit more length.
