I am a volunteer for the state Adopt-A-Highway program. Previously, I had wrestled the trash bags in the wind - or even a slight breeze with the trash bag often dumping out what I had already picked up. This infuriated me. I had wracked my brain trying to figure out how to solve the problem to no avail. Then I found this ingenious device for holding the trash bag open! If you spend any time at all picking up litter, this is a must have item. It is lightweight, with a simple design - nothing to put together, and works perfectly. Also it reduces the stress of wrestling the bag making the project much more enjoyable.

Works great. I work for a landscape company and we also do parkinglot sweeping. Part of the job is hand picking trash, and this works great for that, even with a 40 gallon bag. Only issue I had was I had to make the adjustment strap work a little better. As seen in the picture the buckle is now permanently in one spot which makes it work alot better.

I love this bag holder, and bought a second for my girlfriend almost immediately. I take this out to pick up trash around my neighborhood. The construction is satisfyingly straightforward, with some great thought put into the clips. I appreciate the extra two. Worth the price; seems like a one-man operation and USA made. Could someone make it themselves? Sure, but this is so much easier. Thanks for making such a sturdy item!Suggestions for improvement:13 gallon bags are just slightly too small, and you have a small chance of ripping the bag when putting one on. Using those flex bags helps. Maybe make the length 1/2" shorter?I love the strap, but found it to chafe my neck after a while if I wasn't wearing a hoodie. Maybe put on a small shoulder pad, for when you're using this in warmer weather? Easy to do yourself, though.

After trying other types of bag holders, this one hit the mark. It’s easy to carry and durable and coupled with an extended trash picker, great for picking up trash along roadways.

After a sore shoulder from carrying a heavy litter bag for miles, I thought: hey, it's the future, someone must've solved this problem. Luckily, someone did! Is this worth the $45? Yes. Yes it is. While I've only had it for a few hours, my test drive was wonderful. As a frequent litter picker-upper, this is my favorite purchase of the year. It's obviously made with pride and care.

I needed something to keep a trash bag open while doing my combination walking and trash collection for exercise. This holder was exactly what I needed. Just the correct size for a 13 Gal kitchen bag and hardly added any extra weight. I am very pleased with this purchase.
