I used these bits to drill holes in terra cotta and other ceramic pots. I have never used a masonry bit before and was not sure what to expect, so know that this review is from a novice.For my purposes, these bits worked well! I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I wasn't going to get a ton of us out of, so these were perfect. The ends did start wearing down really fast, but they still continued to work (and got sharper?) despite the wearing, so perhaps this isn't unexpected with this type of bit. I just used my standard electric drill, no hammering required for this type of task.I would recommend this for a hobbyist or someone with a small job to do!

Nada que ver con las brocas tradicionales, perforan el concreto como si fuera madera... aun las estoy retando a ver cuanto duran, al menos para trabajos caseros 100% recomendarles.

Stop using traditional maconery drill bits, as they never drill holes to the required diameter. At first glance the tip of the bit looks impressive and scary. However, the precision of the diameter is exact. A must have set if you don't want to spend your time repairing the damage left behind by traditional maconery bits. I had a lot of holes to drill and each one was perfect.
