Our animals ripped our brackets out. These replacements are sturdier and don’t feel too heavy but can support our rods and curtains.

I was so surprised when I got the package. I wanted to make sure I ordered a package that had 3 brackets, 1 for each end plus a center bracket.....When I got the package, it had 9 prackets and hardware......3 sets of 3.Very sturdy, strong, on the heavy side. Great quality, easy to install. I swapped out my single brackets for the double hang.

I did notice these double rod brackets are not quite as solid as the single rod unit/brackets I bought from a local home improvement store. I think they will do the job, but the double brackets do have a little flex to them compared to my more expensive rod system/brackets from a higher end brand. Because they are currently holding 4 weighty semi sheers with ease, I won't remove a star for adding 2 solid panels that I don't have up yet. I imagine that the extra weight will be fine with the double rod use...weight will be dispersedOverall, I'm very pleased with the installation ease, acceptable sturdiness, and bracket appearanceI also ordered an Amazon basics double curtain rod set in brown with Amazon glass like separate finials, and those have worked out exceptionally well with 4 panels hung between both rods...love them!

These brackets didn’t trick for me, but there were a few things I didn’t like about using them.First, they didn’t come with instructions. I know how to mount curtain brackets, so that’s not too big of a deal, but if this is your first time, you’ll need to find your own tutorial. It was frustrating not to know the diameter of the dry wall anchors, and I had to do some trial and error to drill the right size hole for them.Next, the distance between the front and back holders is about 1 1/4 inch, which is a bit shorter than I would have liked. My front hanging curtains use grommets, and need a distance of about 1 3/4 inches to hang without hitting the curtains in the back.Also, there is no way to adjust the brackets’s distance from the wall. If your window has a ledge that comes out from the wall more than 1 inch, you may find that your curtains won’t hang freely in front of the ledge.
