The stand that your supposed to use, doesnt stay in very well. The stand is supposed to slide into a loop on each side and thats supposed to keep the owl standing. Except, the stand easily will slide out of one side. Fortunately it most often will fall into the back of the owl, keeping it upright. However, once you attempt to remove a pod, the whole thing can collapse. And from there it can get messy. The loops for holding the pods are not the same size. So, what happens, is the eyes and top 2 rows will be loose and the pods can easily sit, sliding all the way back and even having some wiggle room. The next 2 rows will be smaller and the pods will be tight and you'll need to sort of jam them in. So they don't fall out but they dont get seated all the way to the back like the first few rows. Overall it feels clumsy sitting on my coffee counter and I dont see it as a reliable place to put pods for functional use. I suppose if I used it only as decoration or hung it from the wall, then sure it might work. But as is with the stand, its just a matter of time before it falls over.

I love my owl pod holder. It's super cute on my counter and sure to be an attention getter. I had to finagle the metal prop that holds the owl up. The prongs were not shaped correctly from the manufacturer. I had to bend them a lot in order for the owl to stand up without falling. It does hold the pods securely. It's thin metal though. I wish the metal were thicker. QA should inspect the prongs to make sure they're shaped to hold the owl the moment the stand is inserted. I went thru too much to get this thing to stop collapsing. I do like it though. Perhaps making the piece with more hefty metal would be ideal.

I love coffee and have an owl themed kitchen so finding this owl K Cup holder made me super happy! It is actually really really cute. It seems like it is made of decent quality materials. was having real trouble getting the stand to stay in. I could put the left side in with no problem but every time I tried to attach the right side it just popped right back out. I had to do some bending and warping of the stand to get it to stop doing that. It was also so much bigger than I thought it was going to be. It was too hard to really fit in the space I have on my counter, which made me so bummed.I do like that it could be used for other things though like putting it in a closet to hang scarves or on a dresser to hang necklaces/other jewelry. The stand is easily removable so you can simply hang it up on the wall as decor.Overall I really like it, it just doesn't work for me as a k-cup holder. I will try to find some other use for it though because overall it is nice and decent quality.

I absolutely love my coffee owl. He makes my coffee station so fun. I did go ahead and hang him from my fridge using magnet hooks rather than the stand he comes with. Now I save on counter space, and he just hangs on the fridge next to my coffee pot. Love this guy so very much. Fun find!
