My guniea pig loves this hay!! She can't get enough of it!! Great size of bag great price too! It's not that hard not that soft just right! Last long! Awesome food overall

Hardness was good and crunchy for my bunny. Definitely fresh, didn't look contaminated or had any creepy crawlies. And the quality overall was very good

Really nice hay, smells lovely, and arrived fresh. Unfortunately, our piggies decided it was beneath them and just threw it around the cage. We tried several times over the course of a few weeks to trick them into eating it over timothy hay, but to no avail. We ended up throwing it away, which was doubly unfortunate since you get a pretty small bag for the price. At least we know our boys are a cheap date! HahaI'm leaving 5 stars anyway because my pigs' palates are not the manufacturer's problem. Otherwise, the product is exactly as described, premium oat hay (This would be the Godiva chocolate in a world of Hershey's), and I'm sure the other reviews will be much more helpful than this one.

Edit: I found out this is what oat hay should look like so disregard my concern of weird plastic looking hay.Please note I have not purchased oat hay previously. My delivery arrived within a day so very quickly. The issue is that the product itself, the hay, seems very fake. I ordered three different bags of oxbow hay in my purchase and all three look nearly the same and feel just as fake. Granted, it could just be bad quality or a bad batch but my previous experience with oxbow hay, which was great, has definitely greatly differed in this purchase. Pls be aware when buying

Oxbow has great hay. Good variety and quality. Great amount in a little package. GusGus absolutely hates this one. We do a different one everyday and this one he pulls onto the cage floor and refuses to eat. Can't hold that against the product though.

My senior pig is struggling with his metabolism lately and I wanted to boost the fat content of his diet. His usual hay is orchard grass, but it seems like the oat hay did do the trick for helping him when he was at his lowest weight (he's back on orchard grass now since he's doing better). I recommend this if you're in a similar situation and want to help your small pet pack on the pounds!

I have bought this product several times for my bunny. He LOVES oat hay. However, this product is not consistent. He devoured the last bag I purchased and ate it so fast he barely came up for air. However, I noticed after opening my current bag that he wasn't eating it, but instead he was scattering it about, and leaving it. I examined the hay more closely to discover how withered and brown it is as well as how many hard seeds were contained within this bag. I had to trash it. I want to order more because I have received "some" good bags, but he is on a hay only diet due to GI issues and I am afraid of getting another bad bag. I wish this product was returnable or came with a product guarantee.

Although it is pricey, I use this for a treat and call it their addiction hay because they go week! week! for it. I order this bag and it last me almost 2 months ( not giving it daily and little portion when I do). I open it and insert the bag into another air tight bag to keep it fresh.
