These notebooks came wrapped nicely in plastic. They are your basic notebook but sturdy and durable. Paper is thick and doesn’t tear easily. It’s a win.

We needed some paper for notes, lists, etc, so when I saw these Oxford 1-Subject Notebooks, I ordered them as I've been using Oxford spiral notebooks for years.The paper is very smooth, good for gel ink and ballpoint pens, and I didn't get any bleed through using the gel pens. Each sheet is perforated for easy removal, and the paper has holes to fit a standard notebook, and since there are also holes in the cover and the notebooks are pretty slim, you can put one of these spiral notebooks in an actual notebook easily. There's no place on the front of each book to write a subject, but the backs are white, so you can write as much information as you need there.One thing I've noticed over the years. The cardboard front and back covers have gotten thinner, so the notebooks are floppier than they were 20+ years ago. Still, they're fine as long you don't don't need them to be self-supporting. Please note that these notebooks are 8 x 10.5, not letter-sized; I didn't find them unusually small. I suspect I've used this size for years without realizing it.The notebooks will definitely work for my use, and I think they could be very good for taking notes in class or at work. The smooth paper feels good and picks up ink fine. Overall, I'm completely satisfied.
