Love these things! Inexpensive and useful. Easy to write on and dispose of when necessary. Also useful for cleaning between teeth, starting a fire (you do need matches, sold separately), marking places in books, cooling you off (fan option requires wrist flexibility), leveling small tables (when used in larger quantities they will need to be held together by the plastic in which they came or a rubber band (sold separately)). Also useful for making lists for spouse (though they seem to get frequently lost - consider a tracking device or the ever-popular larger 8"x11" paper).Speaking of the original packaging, in their shrink-wrapped state you can 1) throw them at intruders (those corners can be vicious!) 2) holding open larger books 3) wedging under doors to prevent curious children from entering 4) building blocks 5) juggling, though again, those sharp corners...The lines are also very nice. I am kept organized and my writing doesn't slowly curve down as it moves across the surface. The red line shows me which way is up, but if I'm feeling rebellious I put the red line on the bottom. I know!! And the opposite blank side is, of course, ((TRIGGER ALERT)) a blank space. Some people can find so much open blankness as horrifying, but others see an opportunity for expression. Start slowly and try both sides. You might prefer one over the other! And if you never use one side, don't worry. There is no wrong side. They feel slightly thinner than index cards of my youth. But I was also slightly (ahem) thinner in my youth, so maybe it's just me and I'm stronger. YEAH! Crazy buff!I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. Though, since I purchased 1000, I think I'm good to go for a while. Maybe I'll go make a fire....

I bought these to use to study with for college and they were perfect. They did arrive a little bent, but they flattened back out when I placed a book on them. They were lined on one side and blank on the other, which I have a hard time finding. I was grateful to find these at such a great price. I went through them so quickly I had to buy 2 sets of 1,000 before the semester was up. Great find.

What to say about cards… great paper quality, lines are dark enough but not too dark (in my opinion). Great quantity. Typical index card texture. In short… exactly as expected.

I am preparing to take my Real estate exam soon. I used notebooks to write down the million things one must learn in order to ace the challenging NC exam. I found that notebooks simply don't work for me. I feel unorganized and find myself running out of space cramming words all over the place. I bought this index set as multiple packs. I should definitely not worry about running out anytime soon. They are thin, but that does not bother me. I am now confident and organized as I transfer study notes from notebook to the cards. Small size cards, yet; very spacious. I use both sides to write info. Now I am studying and reading essential information with clarity. Five stars indeed.

First, get quizlet. UNLESS you want to cramp up your hands from writing a million flash cards. 5 stars tho because they do help and you can have your family quiz you but quizlet is so amazing and much better to study with.

The photos don't show that this is blank on one side - great for me making flashcards with pictures on one side and text on the other, but it may not work as well for you. I don't want them to be huge.Simple, does what it's meant to do and it is affordable at AU $22.95 for 1,000 index cards.Fits well in my Oxford at Hand Note Card Organizers too.

The ink lines were weak, the paper was thin and I kept getting paper cuts, the card is also lined on one side
