I need to make several hundred flashcards. Since Amazon's 3x5's are 1/3 the price of Oxford's and both say "heavyweight", I bought one of each. Oxford's is noticeably heavier just by feel and likely will last longer with anticipated heavy usage. Even though it makes me wince to pay 3 times the Amazon price, I think I really will need the heavier card stock. Amazon's 3x5's are no lightweights, though, and will be perfectly fine for lighter use such as recipe cards or other notes. However, for very frequent use, I will buy more Oxfords.

I really like the thickness & durability of these index cards. I ordered them to use as recipe cards and didn’t have any issues with ink bleeding through with a regular pen. I did use highlighter on some parts and there didn’t appear to any bleeding so I feel like they’d hold up well with a sharpie too. I wish they were double sided lined but they were easy to work with. Pricier than a standard pack of index cards but you get quite a bit and a good quality. Would order again if needed.
