I love this tool! The first time I used it, it didn't seem to work very well, so I went back and watched one of the videos that have been posted to Amazon showing how others use this tool. Wow, what a difference! Instead of trying to strip the corn while holding the cob vertically -- which didn't seem to work well at all -- I'm now laying the ear of corn down on a cutting board, holding it steady with my left hand and stripping from left to right. I'm amazed at how cleanly and uniformly it strips every kernel of corn off the cob while applying almost no pressure at all. This tool is well made, fits comfortably and ergonomically in the palm of my hand, and is worth every penny. I absolutely love it and think it would make a terrific stocking stuffer at Christmas.

Easy to use, cutting corn off the cob is a real chore, so I got this it was a recommendation from a cooking shop. Sturdy, comfortable great design and size, very pleased.

I just made Texas Cavier w fresh corn on the cob. This OXO CORN on the cob peeler was really easy to use and fast. Don't be afraid to apply pressure to get all of the goody out of the cob. My only suggestion is since I stood the cob up on its widest end and used the peeler in a downward motion; I would do it in a tall sided bowl. It did spray just a little. It was safer, faster, and more thorough than using a straight knife. The handle has a no slip grip and its easy to clean. The size is flat and compact and wont take much room in your kitchen drawer. I don't ever write reviews unless I'm so tickled w my purchase I just have to share my good fortune ..OR..the product is SO BAD I feel the responsibility to inform other consumers not to waste their time and money. Ive only used it once so if it's durable and stays sharp this is a definite " MUST BUY". I was IMPRESSED..!

Love, love this kitchen tool. It cuts the corn kernels off the cob very easily and super fast. Based on previous reviews, I did put the corn in a deep 13x9 pan to prevent the kernels from going everywhere. If you like fresh corn off the cob this is a must have tool for ypur kitchen.

After trolling through umpteen descriptions and reviews of these corn strippers, decided a good grips the best option. This stripped the corn easily, quickly and without any mess. Really easy to hold as well. Excellent product.
