Living in a region that sees its fair share of snowy winters, I've gone through my fair share of snow brushes and ice scrapers. The OXO Good Grips Extendable Twister Snow Brush has been a game-changer for me, making the daunting task of clearing my car on frosty mornings significantly easier and more efficient.**Efficiency**: The extendable feature of this snow brush is its standout quality. It effortlessly extends to reach the center of my car's roof and windshield, ensuring I can remove snow without straining or having to stretch uncomfortably. The brush head twists, allowing for the perfect angle to sweep away snow efficiently, without leaving any residue behind.**Durability**: OXO is known for its quality, and this snow brush is no exception. It feels sturdy and well-made, capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of winter without breaking or becoming brittle in low temperatures. The ice scraper end is tough on ice but doesn’t scratch the glass, a balance that's hard to find.**Design**: True to the Good Grips name, the handle is comfortable and provides a secure grip, even when wearing gloves. This design consideration makes it easier to use for prolonged periods, reducing hand fatigue. The compact size when not extended is a plus, making it easy to store in the trunk or backseat.**Versatility**: Beyond its primary function, I've found the OXO snow brush useful for brushing off outdoor furniture and small walkways. Its gentle bristles are safe on surfaces but effective in removing snow, proving its versatility beyond just car care.In conclusion, the OXO Good Grips Extendable Twister Snow Brush is an indispensable tool for anyone facing snowy conditions. Its extendable reach, durable construction, and ergonomic design make it a superior choice for keeping your vehicle clear of snow and ice. It’s a winter essential that I’d highly recommend to others.

Purchased to replace the OXO scraper stolen by my husband. Scraper/brush extends so I can remove the snow from the top of my SUV easily then collapses for easy storage in rear of vehicle. Brush extends and retracts easily. Top brush twists into place when needed. Quality scraper and worth every penny!

Don't have much to add except to echo comments already made by others. It is perfect for removing light fluffy snow. Yes, the extendable handle could be longer, but I also have another type of SUV brush that can handle that task. This brush is perfect if you drive a small to intermediate size vehicle like a Corolla, Civic, Sentra or Elantra.I bought mine off of Amazon without realizing they sold these at my local Bed, Bath and Beyond and could have gotten it cheaper with the use of a 20% coupon. Then again, I have an aversion to shopping in malls and stores so the price was fair and worth it. I imagine it will hold up just fine, but I imagine it might be a challenge to remove heavier, wet snow. An alternative brush with stiffer bristles like the other one I have may work better. Construction appears to be solid and built well.EDIT 2/4/14: Tried using it on more wet, heavier snow today after a snow storm dumped 4 inches. As anticipated, the wetter snow caused the bristles to become heavy and clogged a bit. If you are going to store it in your car after removing this type of snow, it will cause quite a wet mess. Bang off or brush against your car tire to minimize the melt off. The brush still did its job, but once the bristles are heavy and wet it starts to get a bit more challenging. I still give it 4 stars, just be aware that this will happen.

This seems to be the quality you expect from OXO. I like the scraper being on the same end as the brush, do you don't have to keep flipping it around from end to end when using it & the handle is MUCH BETTER without the Scraper in the way! Plus that it is extendable is great. To be honest, if it wasn't extendable, I would have went with a cheaper one that has the brush & scraper on the same end, but this still would have been better all the way around: Padded handle, rotatable brush, etc.

Being Vermont born, Erie raised, a stopover in Wisconsin, and back to Vermont, I’ve gone through a few snow brushes. I’ve tried the cheap gas station variety, the expensive foam gripped extendables with all the bells and whistles and reach enough to clear a semi. The cheap ones have always held up better and gotten the job done. Where they lack is the reach. This one falls somewhere in the middle, offering a nice scraper, nice brush, a little extra reach, and being able to flip the brush is awesome. Flip it perpendicular to push the bulk off the windshield and roof, then parallel again to brush off the passenger windows quickly. The scraper has worked great so far, scrapes cleanly, and hasn’t chipped or otherwise broken yet. It doesn’t have the capacity to remove huge amounts like some of the others I’ve had in the past...however it fits easily in the car and is compact which makes up for it. It seems durable and well made with a metal shaft and solid mechanisms. Zero complaints so far. I’ll update if it succumbs to the elements sooner than expected.

Oxo GoodGrips extendable twister snowbrush – purchased 31 Dec 2014 (£20 - Prime)This excellent snowbrush has been used several times in the Swiss Alps and in the UK. The build quality appears to be good and it feels sturdy but not heavy. It is easy to hold and adjust with thick winter gloves or bare hands, so it does live up to the GoodGrips name. For storage, it measures approximately 58cm and the brush can be locked in-line with the handle. Having the ice scraper at the same end as the brush is advantageous for storage and in use. The snowbrush when fully extended measures approximately 85cm and there are 4 lockable positions between fully closed and fully extended. The ability to rotate and lock the brush at 90 degrees to the handle made the task of clearing deep snow from my car very easy as I was able to pull the snow towards me or push it away from me. This was much less effort and more effective than sweeping from side to side. I do not think that the bristles are likely to scratch paintwork.Having the ice scraper on the same end as the snowbrush allowed me to switch easily between moving snow and clearing ice from the car windows. The scraper works reasonably well but for situations where there is no snow to be cleared, I will keep using the ICEPLANE twin bladed scraper which I find to be more effective and convenient.

These are great and highly versatile. I've been using one for 10 years that just broke (the extending handle just pulls apart). However, the quality is not what it used to be. The ice-scraping edge is not perfectly flat and I'm not sure if my new replacement will do as good a job as the old one. So I'll have to keep the old one in my car as well...

Really good quality and sturdy. My last (not the same brand) snow brush broke) but I think this one will hold up for a long time.
