I am at an odd point of life where I’m in recovery and am doing things I never did routinely in the past. Cooking well is a big part of that!This new colander I bought from Amazon (actually I purchased 2 at different sizes!) has been super for my cooking. So many things I make require I drain the water from the food being cooked, and this colander does great! It is steel, not plastic, and the drain holes are so small, the water drains well but no food leaks out. Cleaning it is simple with sink-water and a brush or simple rag. Overall, I am pleased to say my cooking has gotten easier and better since I received my new colanders! I am pleased and very happy I made this purchase!

Great quality and fits in the sink perfectly. I just use this for myself, so if you’re cooking for a family, the larger strainer would be a better option. I love the design—it’s sleek, sturdy, and easy to clean. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen!

I wasn't sure I was going to like this strainer when I first got it because its a bit taller and narrower than what I'm used to, but after using it for a while its grown on me and I really like it. Its also made out of pretty stout metal so it feels super durable and zero dishwasher issues. Love the tiny holes too, no more wasting spaghetti.

After years of giant ugly plastic tub colanders that always leaked pasta into the sink, I wanted something more reliable and beautiful. Oxo never lets me down, so I went with their smaller one. It is so cute, seems sturdy and well made, and is dishwasher safe. I just got it, so I can't say how it holds up to dishwasher use over time, but so far, it's perfect.
