As required by the outdoor range I rent, I used this in lieu of a range flag during my low light tactical pistol course. It was very bright and energy efficient. Good magnet too.

I purchased 3 of these in the past in amber and liked them. This one has the magnet attached (rigged) to the exterior bottom of the light which allows direct access to moisture and ultimately rust. I removed the magnet and caulked the screw hole so hopefully it will remain dry on my boat. Two stars is probably too polite.

This product has a switch inside to set the flasher between always on and only on at night. The product arrives set for only on at night. People who need that function know all about it. People who simply want the flasher to work will have to spend the time learning about a function they don't need. Many times, they will believe the product is defective. The actual product is not defective, but the product should not arrive set for a function only a few users will want.
