Replaced my car door speakers with nice Focal woofers and tweeters. Long story short, I realized the tweeters sounded like jumbled garbage and I was worried they were damaged. Found out about bass blockers and overnighted these to see if it would help. ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. My sound is so crisp and clean now - I feel like I actually get the quality I paid for with my system. These are a must-have if you stick tweeters in your car.

Instead of taking a chance blowing those tweeters or speakers get some bass blockers which will insure that the wrong signal will not be sent!

Works Perfect! Very easy to install simply spice into the positive speaker wire. Some cars may have a limited space b/t the tweeters and the enclosure and this bass blocker may not fit. You may have to take the door panel off and splice into the wires there. Fortunately on the 2000 mustangs mach 460 system there is just enough space to squeeze everything together!

I was worried there wouldn't work well with my factory radio, but I was wrong! These caps work great and do not muffle or lower Volume at all, and only let the highest highs through. 5khz.Do not hesitate to buy these if you are installing component speakers but don't want to drill the door panel to run wire for your crossover. This is the solution, just wire this inline positive with your factory full range signal and you'll be rocking!

They are packaged nice with heavy wire but I didn’t notice any difference. I tried them on dash speakers and didn’t notice any change. Wish I wouldn’t have waited so long to hook them up because I may have just got a pair that was assembled incorrectly

*edited: my wife drives a 2016 Mazda CX-5. Audio sucked. I put Polk tweeters in the vehicle and less than two years later both Polk bass blockers went bad. Replaced with these. These are excellent and are super easy to install!Replaced a stock Polk teeter bass blocker that somehow went bad. The item worked perfectly. They are small and get the job done. They have nice length of wire on each end as well which made the job easy.
