So, if you’ve seen videos online about how these work, these did work just as expected… with a catch. First I bought two ‘push button’ quick pins for the adjustment bar sections, that way I could pull the pins, slip the arms over the attachment, and then pin them back in just a few seconds. The other issue is that I had one attachment where the pins were off one hole one way or another… if I tried to center the attachment perfectly, it just wouldn’t work. I don’t consider anything I’m doing with my tractor precision engineering, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but it is a heads-up.

I ordered this set of stabilizers for my Kubota BX 24. I have never liked the "wagging tail" that you get when I am using a 3 point hitch implement like a brush hog. This pair of stabilizers certainly does stiffen up my 3 point hitch quite a bit. It was a breeze to install and it took longer to remove the cotter pins in the original turnbuckle stabilizers. So it does make the 3 point hitch much stiffer and more manageable. That said I do have a couple of observations/concerns with the design. First of all since the adjustment is done via a pin in a hole, it isn't as adjustable as the turnbuckle style. In doing so I encountered that I wasn't able to get the pins in the same holes on both stabilizers so the 3 pitch is slightly off center. Not sure how this is going to impact things when I am towing an implement but something I will need to keep an eye on. The second thing is that since the 3 point hitch on my BX 24 is designed to be removed, I found that I had to take off the stabilizer links in order to do so and that is something I didn't have to do with the original turnbuckle stabilizers. Since I don't use the 3 point hitch all that much this isn't a major issue but something to be aware of. So overall this is a decent upgrade but with a few compromises that need to be considered.
