Excellent piece of equipment if you have a serger. It is padded on the bottom so that the serger does not vibrate itself off the table. Love it thank you!

I gave 5 stars because this is exactly what I needed for my business, it is accurate and sturdy and the foam padding, which is labeled as rubber, still works to help the ruler from not moving while cutting or meassuring.HOWEVER the edges on this ruler are VERY sharp, I cut my knuckle deep on my first use of this ruler,the edges should be rounded at least,

This 18 inch metal ruler has worked so well for my home paper crafting of cards and scrapbooking. I especially like the 18 inches. I can use it both as the ruler for both paper and cardstock. I use it as a straight edge on paper when making templates or want a frayed edge.There are times I need to pencil in lines on landscape, with the 18 inches, it is easy.

The stainless steel ruler it true and I have used to draw on some pictures in my sketchbook. It was very easy to use.

Looks and feels great. Especially like rubber backing to prevent slipping and help with alignment. Nicely packed also. Took about a week to arrive.

We use these for straight edges on plotted drawings, so it will serve its purpose. However, it is quite floppy, which I think will make it more prone to being bent. For the price and availability, it will work fine for us.

Nice ruler, does exactly what it should. Grips the paper/cutting surface so your fingers don’t get sliced.
