We’ve only ever had a pack n play as a crib for our now 2 yr old, but then he figured out how to climb out. Putting the mattress on the floor meant hours of trying to coax him into bed and he wouldn’t stay still long enough to fall asleep. He also hates wearing clothes at the moment and it’s hot so I didn't think a sleep sack would work. After a week, we were all frustrated and tired. I kept searching for something like this, was thrilled to see that it wasn’t expensive, and I’m happy to report that it works! The darkness gets him to sleep quick, and with it tied down and the top zipped, he hasn’t figured out how to escape. I’m concerned about overheating so I recommend keeping the window open at all times and turned toward a fan or a/c vent for better circulation, and minimal clothing. Once asleep, I open the top so he’s not freaked out when he does wake up and stand up, especially since he’s taller than the pack and play. Love the stretchiness, easy to use, can definitely see how it will work well for travel too.

Our daughter, of course, doesn’t sleep as well on vacation as at home. I thought this was a good alternative to the be tent people buy or to putting up curtains. It’s not complete blackout, but it provides enough reduction in light that she definitely sleeps better compared to before we started using it. Wouldn’t want material thickness to be more because I’d be worried about breathability. We use it on a maxi-cosi swift playard which is bigger than a pack n play, it’s a little tight but still works, probably works better on more standard travel cribs.

I love this! It’s so nice to have when we travel. It keeps the light out, so my toddler can sleep. It does not trap air in, so she doesn’t get too hot. Awesome product. Highly recommend!

We have a slumberpod and our little guy never liked it (we set it up at home and had him play in it - he could never sleep in it). It was also a pain to put together and bulky.I bought this last minute before leaving for our trip and so glad I did. I kept the zippered door on top open because I didn’t need the blackout and was concerned about his safety even though it’s advertised as breathable. Plus he was able to stand up in it after waking up. I would agree with other reviews that the zipper isn’t that sturdy either.Overall, I highly suggest this purchase if your kiddo can sleep in a pack n play.

Works well, not 100 light blocking and the zipper broke shut so we just pull the corner off to get kids in and out. Much more travel friendly than the tents and much cheaper

This has helped in so many ways! It keeps it dark, it allows air flow !! And zipper is easy! Definitely recommend.

We used this all the time travelling when baby was younger, the material is thin but the quality is better than expected for the price. Only downside is once baby started standing he would get frustrated by the material over top of him but I always just left the top flap open on one side. The value of your money was better than the expensive pole ones. The size was perfect over our play pen. The thinness is more functional to fold it up small and keep it in my playpen mattress bag - that was a plus. It definitely helped baby sleep better blocking out light when travelling

We camp in a trailer which lets a fair amount of light in. This cover has been great! No crazy early mornings for us! It makes the inside of the play pen very dark. The tie downs are short and a little hard to tie but I don't usually bother with that anyways. Great purchase!

This product is great in theory, it is not pitch black but it’s breathable and makes the pack and play dark enough that baby can sleep and not see me when looking out. The only downfall is that one of the zippers broke after the first use. Thankfully there’s two but I don’t know what I’ll do if that one breaks as closing the top makes a huge difference in keeping it dark and allowing her to fall asleep on her own!

This fits on all standard size pack and plays and is easy to use. I think if you had a bright room this alone wouldn't be enough, but with a dim room this works great. It's compact so it's easy to travel with.
