The description does indicate that the ruler is 36", but also states that it is a meterstick/yardstick. Being that this ruler is only 36" long, it is most definitely not a meterstick. I needed meter sticks and was sucked in by the deceptive description. Furthermore, these things are not wood. They are made of MDF, and on day one of use, students broke three of them by simply handling the stick. The particle board is flimsy and cheap. I do NOT recommend this product for any reason!

Bought these to tape together to put up and remove hook magnets from my classroom ceiling. They served the purpose I bought them for. I will say they will a little more flimsy than hoped but it worked out.

While these arrived quickly, and the price was pretty cheap, these were a disappointment in that they are NOT a meter stick. It is a yard stick, that has 36 inches on one side, and therefore only goes to about 91 centimeters on the other side. So this would not be a good choice for educators of math, science etc. If you need just a yard stick, and will not need a meter stick, then it might suffice, but just understand it is not a meter long.

I loved this ruler it was for a amazing price but I couldn’t really draw a straight line with it.
