Some were kinda oily. All worked fine. Pens are a little tough for 2 year old to get out but older sibling did fine.

These are cute and practical but I wouldn't call them "mini". They are quite large for a keychain (almost the size of my palm). I know if they were much smaller you wouldn't really be able to draw on them, but with their size, I don't imagine they will last long. The larger keychains are always the ones that get whacked around and broken first! That being said, they will be fun while they last!

KIDS LOVED THEM! We used these to pass out for Valentines, but they would be great for any prize or giftbag situation! Def. a great value! and they are fun, a great size and simple to use, which makes them great for a variety of ages!

We've tried some similar mini magnet drawing boards like these in the past and liked them, so I was excited to find these.These come individually wrapped, so they're protected from rubbing against each other during shipping and handling. That also makes them easy to hand out individually or to use for something like a prize box. They work similarly to a Magna-Doodle, but on a smaller scale. I'd say that the slider to erase the drawing (which is on the back of the board) is not quite as smooth as what you'd find on a Magna-Doodle, but it's still fairly easy to use (a couple of times, I used it more than once to make sure the screen was fully clear).Since the screen is pretty small, you won't be able to draw anything really large or write much of a message on it, but these are fun for just keeping on a backpack and drawing a fun little image or message for the day (such as a smiley face, "Hi!," or something else simple).Overall, these are a great and inexpensive little toy that is easy to hand out for prizes or favors.

I've loved these toys since I was a kid and having a Keychain version is so much fun! These are great for classrooms, party favors or just to have. They work just as poorly as I remember but that's just the nature of the toy. I love that it's a smaller Keychain version and that I can take it with me wherever I go. I would definitely recommend

I ordered this in preparation for my daughter's four year old birthday. I didn't even know these things existed, so I was happy to find a party favor that the kids would actually like. It was a bit hit and my friends told me that their kids carry it with them all the time and still play with it.
