I went through a box of these in less than a year, and when I needed more, I chose the same brand. It does come with a bit, but more importantly, I like the container. Durable with two plastic latches, I can use this container for other things for a few more years. Perfect for small screws used for electrical work or maybe clamps used in plumbing.

The more expensive structural screws start much easier than this item. However, if you start the screw by giving it a firm strike with a hammer (like a nail), it takes no effort to start the screw and drive it home.

These are very sturdy and come with the corresponding drill bit. The bit is very sturdy and I have been able to use it for more than just one box although each box contains one already.

Flange prevents the lumber from spliting and provides better clamping.Didn't have to purchase a large quantity at high cost.

Good design, used to build up a replacement beam on a 110yo camp. I actually used the 3" long ones to pull two 2x6x10's together first, then added a 3rd board and used these. Some of the boards were warped, but the design of these really pulled them tightly together. Very good price!

I bought these as a cheap alternative to Spax. They aren't quite as well-made as Spax screws, but they do drive in well and seem to hold well. I am using them in less critical applications, but after comparing them to Spax, when I need to hang something like a shelf holding heavy items, I reach for the Spax.However, these do have their place, and I would purchase them again and use them where I can get away with it.
