I needed some longer well nuts for my 2011 Harley Davidson Road Glide to mount the windshield and they are an amazing upgrade and inexpensive alternative to the factory size well nuts.

Suitable replacement mounting hardware for seats on Kholer one piece toilets. M5 is best fit and rarely available at hardware stores. 1/4†will be slightly too large. (M5 & 1/4†refer to the bolt size, respectively, not the outside diameter of the well nut) As for getting the original mounts out; get a shim under the bolt head to apply ample upward force then use an impact (not a drill) driver to do the turning. Takes some finesse. Then, if necessary, with a regular drill, drill out the mount with 19/64†bit. Use caution to not damage the porcelain. THIS IS THE MOST LABOR INTENSIVE TOILET SEAT REPLACEMENT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.

I goofed and used some well nuts from a hardware store (Hillman) that I guess were for use in thinner material and didn't create enough stoppage to hold worth a darn. These guys did the trick and work great on the thick walls of a kayak hull. Our new chair is now so firmly held to the yak that you can lift it up and shake it by the chair. Even fit the old holes perfectly, nice !One note - the screws are M5 x .8 and check your lengths carefully. It can be hard finding M5 in retail stores, and doubly hard to find it in a good marine grade and in longer lengths, so you may not be able to just run out and get new screws if these don't fit. Also, if you're mounting a non-flat object (like the tubing of a chair) then consider getting some washers at the same time; the gasket head up top has a tendency to bunch a bit if allowed. In my case they were just about 2mm too short to engage the brass threads, so what I did was instead of putting the well nut into the hole first, I put it on the screw and push it down until I could thread it a bit. This little bit of compression resulted in just the least bit expansion, and I could still easily push it into the hole, then drive it. Worked great. The package doesn't really contain any information on it, so if you're going to store the leftovers I would suggest coming back here to get the specs and labelling the pouch.Glad to find these on Amazon and actually at a fairly decent price for retail.

Slick, easy and cheap way to fix hidden Kohler toilet seat bolts. Once old/broken bolt and nut removed, it only took a few minutes to install. You will need an appropriate flat washer depending on the toilet seat hinge. Works fine; hasn’t loosened up with use.

I used these to mount solar panels to my new rv based on past experience with my previous trailer. These work very well to attach to the relatively thin roof plywood owed on RVs. Being flexible, these provide some compliance for slight errors on spacing as well as vibration. Add a little Dicor for insurance against leaks and it’s a winner.

They will do the job, however I do not like the fact they are METRIC! Limits my choices if I need longer bolts!

After buying other well nuts from Amazon that were completely useless for using on my kayak I thought I'd give these a go . I only ordered 12 as wernt sure if they'd be the same . I screwed my railblaza track down with these and they are the dogs nuts. I was able to lift my t-bolt up and the rail didnt move one bit. I've now ordered another 6 packs .THEY JUST TAKE ABOUT 2 WEEKS TO BE DELIVERED 😡😡
