Last time we moved cross-country, I bought a branded tape gun.It sucked.This tape gun does not suck.This tape gun tears tape off consistently, lays out a clean line of tape on a box, and rolls smoothly. It just WORKS!Thanks to the bright color, I also don't lose it every time I turn around, and unlike Branded Expensive Tape Gun, I didn't have to mangle the cutting teeth with pliers to get it to tear the tape easily.Buy it. You will not regret it, and you might not lose yours all the time anymore, either.

Reviews are a bit exaggerated for this tape dispenser, imo. There is a definite design flaw at the area where the spring loaded metal piece holds the tape in place as it rolls out. The tape constantly slips to one side, requiring tedious, repeated adjustment. This was a two pack and both had the same issue. If you're thinking about buying this tape dispenser for a big job, such as moving like we did, I would suggest paying a little more for a heavy duty one.

Super durable and easy to use. It has cut the tape prematurely a few times tho. Not sure how or why it’s doing that.

dispenser has a nice heft, it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I added a hole in the handle for a string to hang it from. Still feels sturdy. Tape is held and dispenses easily. Such an upgrade from cheap disposable tape dispensers.

Don’t buy this! I had not use this since I first got it but today I needed to wrap a package. I got it started and it seemed to work fine until it broke off and then I could not get it started again because the tape is so thin. I’ve tried everything to try to make it work. Unfortunately, I am past the return window so I am going to just have to throw the tape part away. Perhaps I can order some 3M tape or something that’s better to replace the tape that’s on the dispenser. Anyway, do not buy it unless you want a lot of tape headaches.

A decent tape dispenser, but feels very flimsy! Could've been constructed a lot better but decent for wrapping packages at home
