It helps teach handwriting through two senses, sight and touch. The headlines are blue and the baselines are red. It has a 5/8" ruling, 5/16" dotted midline and 5/16" skip space, and conforms to both D’Nealian™ and Zaner-Bloser™ handwriting styles.

Great product! The lines can be felt while writing. It has greatly helped my 8 year old write neater. Being able to feel when his pencil hits the bottom line helps him slow down and keep from writing all over the paper. Definitely a great tool to try for any children struggling with writing.

This is a fantastic product! The colored lines help make it easy to explain where my child should start and stop. The slightly raised/embossed texture of the lines are a tactical reminder giving feedback to him about where to start/stop as he writes. This has been invaluable as we have been working on forming letters and words, working on spelling and penmanship.

My 4years old son learned how to write alphabets by copying one sentence of a book with this. The line is easy to recognize. The price is reasonable!

Overall satisfied. Beautiful white pages. Son enjoys writing lists and letters on these pages. That being said, I wish it was spiral bound as have to test pages out to use. Also, he can’t feel indentations of the lines well enough to guide penmanship.

Our First grader needed paper for homework and I didn't want the kind that rips when you have to erase something (you remember that in school, don't you? so annoying), so I tried this and the paper is thick and so great! No ripping or tearing, even when the pencil is fresh from the sharpener when she uses the monster eraser :). Will certainly purchase again.

My friend has a premature daughter and he asked if I could find something to help develop her skills and this was what I choose it works perfectly and also it was very cheap

I bought this for an 8-year-old boy that I'm tutoring because he was having difficulty with handwriting. The lines are raised, so he can feel where to begin and end letters. What a difference it's made! He's proud of the improvement, his parents are pleased, so I'm happy!

Used this for my first grader this summer. Her handwriting was illegible and her teacher asked if I could help her. She LOVED this paper because the tactile mid line "told" her fingers where to go. Her handwriting is BEAUTIFUL now and she is so proud of her new handwriting....so is her teacher....and so am I!

The raised line is really fine; pending on the sensory needs of the learned it may not be enough to help guide the writing.
