I work at a library and every quarter we have a different topic for the library to focus on. In the past we have painted on windows and cut out construction paper figures. The paint was difficult to remove and the cutting out was very tedious. So we decided on painting a picture on the newsprint. It’s quicker, not messy and everyone likes the final product. I’m not at work today or I would send a picture.

Our theatre needed tissue for a prop, but I couldn't find it wide enough. This newsprint paper did a super job. Since our actor had to dive through a covered hoop, I scored it so that it would break where I wanted it to. It arrived just in time for me to have it for tech week! So happy, and will order again when I need to make newspapers for the stage.

I bought this newsprint for a project but realized that the color was not quite right. It's more grey than white, which was completely my own error when I purchased it. Filled out the amazon return request and got a lovely email from School Specialty the next day encouraging me to donate the paper to a public school. They are going ahead with the refund anyway. I consider that to be an outstanding company. I will bring it to a classroom today to share with young kids. An excellent idea!The paper will be great to unroll for drawing. I needed it as a stage prop and the color is not bright white enough for our show.

Great value for the size of this newsprint roll. Great for sketching/drafting. Quality of paper is very lightweight and off white/grayish in tone. Not a problem for me as I intended to use this paper to create my own sewing patterns. My only complaint is how awful the 'cutter' is on this thing--the box the paper comes rolled in is made out of cardboard and has no cutting qualities. Save yourself the time and ripped paper and just use scissors or a blade.

It seems newsprint rolls mostly come in 24" widths. Was extremely happy to find this product in 36" width.
