Width of the belt is great for extra support.

First-off, I didn't get this for actually using it with tools. Rather, I am still trying to find a good way to carry my metal detecting gear (finds pouch, dig knife, utility bag) as they get heavier as the day goes by. I got a similar belt before, but I didn't like how it fit with the suspenders. This belt looked more promising.Sizing was a little bit of a problem for me. I went by the size chart and, while it fits, I wish I had ordered a size larger to give me more options. The belt is well-made and looks like it will work for my purposes. However, I do not care for the removable belt-pad. It is only on one end and, with it removed, makes the belt lop-sided and uncomfortable. With it in place, the belt is very uncomfortable when bending at the waist. So I will need to work with it.Because I am using it in a way it was not designed, I am giving it 4-stars. I'm only docking it 1-star due to the design of the removable belt-pad (I think it could be done better).

This is a very good quality tool belt that has proven to be quite durable. I prefer to use one large double pouch bag when I am working and this belt supports it perfectly, regardless of how much weight I carry in it. The padding is light, airy and double stitched on both edges of the webbing for strength, plus it has four attached D-rings for clip suspenders for additional support. I have a 36†waist and found I need the extender on the padded belt to securely fasten it with the velcro backing when I wear it. The heavy duty buckle has two prongs that insert into the paired eyelets that are reinforced with metal rings that give a full range of adjustment to strongly secure the actual web tool belt around my waist. I am very pleased with this tool belt and found it to be a great asset while working.

I wear size 40 pants. With the padding I was bearly able to put the belt into the first set of holes, when I took the Padding off I was able to get it to the second set of holes. If you wear larger then a size 40 pants don't get this, if it's cold outside and you have to wear layers it would be real hit or miss if this would fit at all.

Well constructed but isn’t for “men†as the ad says. It’s for child sized men. The pad barely fits a 40†waist even with extenders and the accompanying belt doesn’t fit at all.

The padding is super comfortable, that makes a big difference after wearing it for hours. The 4-inch width gives great support and distributes the weight really well. The suspender rings are a game changer, especially for long days. I can attach suspenders if I need extra support, which really helps take the load off my hips & saves my back. It fits perfectly, stays in place, and feels sturdy. Definitely a solid choice if you need something that can handle a lot of tools without killing your back!

I got this belt to pair with a newer pouch when I was working on a job running wires. This was super comfortable to wear all day. It was adjustable, and held up well. I don't know if its "contractor" grade, but for me, it works perfect.

This work belt is pretty comfortable, Although squatting is less comfortable because of its size. I hung a pretty heavy drill on it and the belt handled it well. I really like the fact that the larger soft portion is a hook and loop fastener to put it on and hold it there while you buckle the actual belt. It has anchors for suspenders. It's a nice belt but part of me wonders if it's a little too big.
