I had a small hole in a silk shirt. I matched the flower color and applied the patch. It looks perfectly natural and it saved the entire ensemble.

Once washed, the iron on patches fell right off. They are very pretty but I had to sew them on which was not easy due to their size. Once I did sew them on, I liked them a lot.

Colorful additions to an old quilt that was showing some age marks: just sewed them over the brown spots! Colors blended perfectly with those of the 100 year old quilt.
