When you tighten the nut, the needle inside the nut pierces the CO2 Cartridges, and the gas moves from the cartridge to the gun. （slip a 12 gram CO2 cartridge in the rear tube, and tighten. The cartridge is pierced and the CO2 flows into the marker），15-20 shots, when you use it, When replacing to unscrew the nut to remove the CO2 Cartridges for replacement.

Great way to test or charge your Launchers/Markers without having to use or waste the larger 88 gram co2 cartridges, making the more common and affordable 12 gram co2 cartridges compatible for a variety of applications like co2 airguns, less lethal launchers, and paintball markers.

Works as expected but CO2 sticks in housing and you need a small hammer to get it out.

I've been using this style for over a year. This brand gives you extra O-rings and seal in the box. I will been ordering more in the future. The other brands I used the o-ring falls out after a couple uses and I could not find replacements. The manufactures of the other ones did not even reply to me, when I had issues.

I bought this after I screwed up and accidentally bought a box of 40 unthreaded 12g cylinders. I failed to return them within my window so they were going to go to waste until I found this device.I already had a mini regulator with a paintball fitting for use with my beer growler so this allowed me to use the unthreaded cylinders. Combined, the 40 cylinders were equal to nearly 17 ounces of CO2 or about 1.4 12oz cylinder fills. I didn't really save anything over a tank refill, but at least the small cylinders were not wasted.I did not have any problems with the adapter leaking.
