We use this to label our food product - comes off nice and clean. Haven't tried it for painting.

Nice color but not as sticky as 3M on glossy plastic surfaces like kitchen food containers.We appreciate that masking tape is supposed to come off easily and therefor it does not stick as much as, say, duct tape. However, we are not doing an unfair comparison like that. We are comparing against other masking tape brands, and this one does not compare favorably in the stickiness level. It’s ok though. Not so bad that it’s unusable. So if you like the color, buy it anyway, just know it comes off a little TOO easily.

I just painted my place this past weekend. The tape sticks pretty well to the walls and the paint doesn’t bleed into what’s taped which is great. Only concern was removal of the tape. It got stuck in in some places and peeled off some of the paint but that might just be normal. Overall it works really well
