I use this as a fine artist, and it’s the ONLY brand of tape that doesn’t gradually adhere more and more the longer it’s left in place, OR lose adhesion with time. Seriously, it’s the GOAT of tape. Great for painting walls, too, bc you don’t want it taking the paint off if you leave it on an extra day or 2. The Name Brand is AWFUL about that. This is the only tape I use. Ever. It’s durable yet easy to tear on purpose, sticks perfectly, easy to remove, removes CLEAN, doesn’t take anything with it except its own adhesive. Works well, easy to use, easy to apply, easy to remove, glue works well, etc etc keywords blah blah

Did not even stick to itself. So frustrating when you're trying to tape Windows off and the tape just comes right off. I've learned that if it's not the Frogger brand then forget about it.

Other reviews stated that they returned this tape because it was not very sticky. I took a chance buying it because of the price. If you want something that is easy to remove but will not hold for very long, then this is good for that purpose. I would prefer something that stays on until I remove it, like the "blue" painters tapes I have used in the past.

This is so much better than the 3m blue tape removes easy and does not peel the fresh paint when removing great product.

Ok so many of my Reviews may begin with the following:"Alright here we go again and again......Amazon for no real reason decides to remove my post about this Item! Again, not sure why but this was Gleaming Positive that would of hurt your eyes just from reading it because it was that good."Ok here we go again.......This Painters Mate Tape is fairly good. I used it to paint several rooms in my house; and didn't notice the adhesive from failing to stick to either baseboards or walls. It actually was the opposite whereby when I removed it from my walls; it peeled away the paint. So definitely nothing wrong with the adhesive!In addition, it wasn't so bad on popcorn ceilings which is understandable but still sticks pretty well. I was kinda impressed.Overall, I don't necessarily believe there is a difference with Painters Tape; it really is based on how much care and time you give. Both with painting as well as taping! Just one point; the width of the painters tape is "slightly" less than other Brands (Please see attached pictures) Therefore, you may or may not notice a difference in painting because the wider painters tape did help with preventing any bleeding, marks or painting of a wall or ceiling in error or accidentally. I use painter's tape on my canvases to help with the placement of a border or something specific I want in a specific area. The tape adheres great and leaves no sticky residue when removed. I prefer painter's tape to masking tape for the above reasons. This tape leave no sticky residue on any surface I've used it on. Will buy again when I need more tape.
