I think the case is pretty. It fits my viola nicely. It has a seemingly handy place for the shoulder rest to fit in. HOWEVER something isn't right! I tie it in security, but I hear my viola rattling when I carry it, as the litter half of it bounces against the bottom, and it's terribly out of tune EVERY time I get it out! This isn't my own carelessness. I'm a well advanced violist, have been playing for over 20 years! My husband bought this for me because my case of 15 years was well overdue a replacement. But he wasn't well educated on cases. Way too expensive for it's level of quality! I would pay $75.

This case is very pretty, well made and has a lot of storage. The viola fits nicely in it, not too snug or too roomy. Looks exactly as it is shown. Bought from Sky music.

I have had to return this item twice because they keep sending a violin version. My 15" viola cannot fit in a violin case. I returned the first one and when the second one came it was still for a violin. The description of this item clearly states it is for a viola. It seems like a great case and I really wish I had gotten the right size. I will have to try another option now since I can't trust I will get the right size on a third try.

I have a 4/4 violin that's a bit wider than normal, so this case fits with a little room to spare! Beautiful lining and sturdy construction!

Do not buy this for a viola. We ordered this 3 times, the large size once and small size twice thinking that they will send us a viola case vs a violin case, and our 15 inch viola did not fit any of the sizes. They are probably violin cases incorrectly sold as viola cases. See pictures of the poor fit in both sizes.
