Love my new Paititi mahogany flute case. I have a Pearl flute with B foot, and it fits perfectly in the case. The case also lays flat when open so makes it easy to put the flute in the case. The wood is beautiful, and the case is very well made.

This is a gorgeous and sturdy case. My flute fits perfectly and snugly in it. There no extra room for any thumb or finger attachments, a cleaning rod or any cloths of sorts. It's so awesome.

Having put all that work into sanding the wood so nicely and lining it so beautifully, you would think they'd be willing to spring for a quality, reliable latch! Not so. The latches close half-heartedly, and loosely, with one side requiring several tweekings to click in. Seems an odd place to skimp on quality. given that the case is guarding several thousand dollars-worth of flute! Back it goes.

I initially thought this case was a wonderful option, as the flute seemed to fit perfectly and I loved the wood exterior. But after several months of use, I began noticing areas of scratching on the body of my flute. Back to the manufacturer's case for me!

This case is very sturdy, made of beautiful wood and well constructed. Understandably, its a bit heavier than the original synthetic/plastic case the flute came in. My flute fits quite snugly. I own a Jupiter with a B-foot and the wooden case fit within the original, soft-sided case used for carrying. I could do without the engraving, but bought it knowing that was there. I like other reviewer's suggestions of covering with a brass name-plate. I expect this will last as long as the flute.

I have a flute MURAMATZU 14 KT. I bought this bag for my flute and I am very pleased with this excellent fit and the quality of the product is very high. A great flute box recommends heat!
