Exceptional quality for the price. Easy to attach to harness for backplate and wing setup. Inner pouch has a zipper to keep your weights in place. Release is secure and easy to operate in case you have to drop weights. This was the size I was looking for to hold enough weight when I dive my drysuit.

High-quality better than expected. I am keeping them. They fit my backplate perfectly.

I added these to my backplate and wing and have been happy. The pockets are secure and provide additional mounting points (I've added grommets to attach things like my DSMB).

So my wife has Brand X [big Scuba Company brand] weight pockets for her backplate and wing and I bought these to try since they're less than half the price but looked very similar. These are every bit as good as those, possibly better. [note: I am a recreational diver - not a technical diver. If I was a tech diver, I'd probably just use a weight belt instead of pockets. But for my recreational dives, I prefer the pockets especially since I don't need to carry lots of other gear]. They attach firmly to my backplate/wing waist strap and do not move with the sewn-on tri glider and loops in the body of the pockets. They have the nice D rings to clip off my reel/SMB. And they're plenty big enough to hold, say, up to 10/12 pounds for use with my very buoyant neoprene drysuit. Scuba stuff is so overpriced. Nice to find these for a relatively reasonable amount. I just dove these yesterday and they held up great (though admittedly I only had 3 lbs on each side since I was diving my wetsuit instead of drysuit). But I don't anticipate any issues.

These weight pouches have such a fantastic value proposition at $50 that I can't find anything else in the price point that is comparable. They fit perfectly over the side cushions on my DiveRite Transpac, and hold plenty of weight for wetsuit diving. I recommend these to anyone who needs a quality weight system and doesn't care about their horizontal profile on their BCD.The only thing I can ask for in a future revision are a set of grommets for knife mounting when I spearfish.

When you shop for a diving weight pocket system they are always $100 or more and you still have to buy other gear that is going to be costly. This Palantic gear was amazing, if not better than other brands I have seen. Great quality and strength, I have already used this on several dives and very much can rely on its use. For the price I'm shocked that this isn't always sold out.

seems very well constructed, buckles lock them into position on the waist belt, web loops very tight, so no sliding or movement.nice that it comes with the D-rings as there is less room on the waist belt due to the length of these.locking mechanism is much simpler and easier to understand than most other systems, so it should be easier to ensure the weight pouch is properly installed and secured.

I haven't dove with these yet but they feel very sturdy and well-made. Like others have said, good way to add simple quick-ditch weights.
