While larger and a little heavier than my original, I'm very impressed with it. It's huge interior allows you to heat or cook almost everything. It's far more powerful than most other residential models. Cleaning is simple and easy. The child proof lock took some getting used to but if I can remember, anyone can. Color matches my stainless steel kitchen and the noise level is low. I highly recommend this product.

Did some research and discovered that Panasonic makes the best microwave. I purchased this unit and I couldn’t be happier. Works well and much faster than my old one. The only issue is that I paid $299 for the microwave and $287 for the trim kit. Why with no electronics does the trim kit cost $12 less than the microwave. Just for clarification, I purchased the microwave on Amazon but the trim kit on Home Depot.

I had this microwave for a very short time and returned it. It seemed to perform well with heating food but the downsides made it too annoying to keep. This microwave has a dark grey interior and a tiny, dim, LED light that does not sufficiently light up the inside. You can barely see the food with the door open and can't see anything inside while it's closed and running. Forget about trying to look in the window and see what's going on; you have to open the door every time. Opening the door is annoying because of the safety lock (which can be disabled) but the button that opens it is loose and rattles and looks crooked/offset from the door. I really wanted a Panasonic inverter microwave but can't keep this one.

Overall a very nice microwave (so far at least-time will tell).Pros:1. It's BIG!2. It heats food very quickly and evenly.3. Looks pretty sleek.Cons:1. It is really hard to see inside while you're cooking the food.2. Ships with child door lock on (required by law) - easy enough to disable if you RTM.3. The built-in trim kit costs more than the microwave itself.

Just got it and started cooking with it. Haven't read all the options and instructions but so far, it's pretty easy to use

the last 2.2 cu microwave wasn’t as well built as this new version. the sensor on cooking seem to be more efficient. the shape is more streamlined.

Bought as a replacement for a failed GE profile microwave. The Panasonic touted features not present on my last microwave. The cyclonic inverter isn’t a gimmick. Food cooked or heated in this microwave are heated evenly; not hot a cold spots. Reheat feature works perfectly. I’m impressed with the quietness and the bright interior lighting. Perfect replacement for me.
